Ernesto Jodos

Jazz pianist and composer. At 16, he won a scholarship at Berklee College of Music (USA), where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1993. He collaborated with the most important jazz musicians and began to develop his own projects as pianist, composer and leader groups. He recorded multiple albums as a soloist and as a leader. Moreover he released an album of improvisations by two pianos with Gerardo Gandini. Considered by the Argentinean newspaper La Nacion: Best Argentinean Jazz Musician and Best Jazz Pianist repeatedly since 2000. Clarin Award for Jazz Revelation (2002), Jazz figure of the year (2004), and Best Konex Platinum Award Jazz soloist (2005). Gardel Award in 2008 and 2009. Career Coordinator Jazz at the Conservatory of Music Manuel de Falla (Buenos Aires). Guest lecturer at the Manhattan School of Music, Universidad Javeriana, School of Music Fernando Sor Bogota, National University of Villa María.
